Email Setup Guide

The email server will work with any version of Outlook (including the free version), but if you want calendar and contact syncing, you must use Outlook Classic (Office 365, Office 2019, 2021, or 2025).

Email Setup

1. Open Outlook. If the add email screen appears, proceed to step 2. If not, click File → Account Settings → Account Settings.
2. Click New.

3. Type in your email address and press Connect. (It might take up to one minute to find settings)

4. Click the IMAP button.

5. Enter your password and press Connect.

Calendar and Contacts Setup

To sync calendars and contacts, first create the folders in Outlook.

1. Click the All Apps or All Folders button.

2. Right-click on Inbox and select New Folder.

3. Select Calendar Items and name it Calendar.

4. Repeat to create a folder for Contacts, selecting Contact Items instead.

5. Install the contact and calendar sync software by downloading CalDav Synchronizer and following the prompts to install it.
6. Close Outlook, then reopen it. A new tab CalDav Synchronizer will appear. Click it, then select Synchronization Profiles and click the green plus button.

7. Select Generic CalDAV/CardDAV and click OK.

8. Enter the following details:
   • Name: Calendar
   • URL: https://mail.acs-webdesign.co.uk:2080/calendars/jason@acs-webdesign.co.uk/calendar/
   • Username: Your email address
   • Password: Your password
   • Email Address: Your email address
   • Synchronization interval: 1

9. Click the three dots (...) beside the Outlook folder field, select the calendar folder under your email address, then click OK.

10. Repeat the same process for Contacts:

11. Select Generic CalDAV/CardDAV and press OK.

12. Enter the following details:
    • Name: Contacts
    • URL: http://mail.acs-webdesign.co.uk:2079/addressbooks/jason@acs-webdesign.co.uk/addressbook/
    • Username: Your email address
    • Password: Your password
    • Email Address: Your email address
    • Synchronization interval: 1

13. Click the three dots (...) beside the Outlook folder, select the contacts folder under your email address, then click OK.

All windows can now be closed. Your email, calendar, and contacts should now be set up and syncing correctly.
